I have a Pfaff 1222 E (definitely not made anymore).
I have had it for about 6 years. My mom gave it to me when I had my oldest daughter and I started sewing.
I would guess it cost about $600.
I sew a little bit of everything diaper bags, mainly cloths for my girls and recently just trying my hand a making a quilt.
I sew at least once a week but this past 2 weeks I have been sewing daily.
I Love Love Love my machine but have not named it.
My machine isn't fancy but always sews a nice stitch and easy to fix a problem if the is one. (usually my mistakes.) All I need it to do is stitch and that's what it does.
Nothing bothers me about my machine.
No great stories. My mom does have the same machine she has used hers for years, she loves the machine so much she has several of them so that if one breaks she has others she could part out. Whenever the dealer has someone trade one in for a newer one they call her to see if she wants it.
I would definitely recommend my machine to others. It is a sturdy machine that will keep sewing and sewing forever.
I think a sewing machine should be reliable and last a long time.
I would love to have a Serger and would mind to have a machine with all the bells and whistles so that I could try new things. But I'm afraid I may just go back to good ol' reliable Pfaff in the end because I know my machine.

Christmas Dresses
Growing up I was always jealous of sisters and their matching dresses for Christmas therefore I had to make matching dresses for my girls. As mentioned in my previous post I didn't finish them until Christmas Eve so they got to wear them the Sunday after Christmas in stead of the Sunday before. Here are a few more pictures on them in their dresses.
Matching Christmas Jammies
We always get jammies for Christmas Eve and I was so happy to find matching sets for the girls. Jared, myself and the girls had a fun playing games with my parents. This may just become a new tradition going to Grandma and Grandpas in our PJs, drinking hot chocolate and playing games.
